Case studies

ERSA is an Agency of the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia which operates in the agriculture, fishing and aquaculture sector.

The website has been developed with the open source Plone CMS.

The following areas have been activated:

• institutional, with indication of the ERSA locations geo-referenced in Google Maps, organizational structure and pager;
• informative, with geo-referenced files in Google Maps related to traditional food products, historic trees, educational farms, videos, information on the soil and derivative papers;
• information, with periodic news bulletin boards, the Agency publications catalogue with the possibility of requesting online purchase, library with the possibility of online consultation of texts (flipbooks), events and conferences.

Correlation mechanisms allow to group contents present in different areas into thematic channels, for a more immediate access to information.
