Cedecra Informatica Bancaria (Italy)
Requirements
Cedecra is a company that supplies banking services.
Cedecra manages assets (mainly servers), network devices and software applications, and must know how to use all of them.
They choose CMDBuild to:
- setup the inventory of hardware and software used
- define a services catalog related to the assets used
This last aspect is one of the leading and most innovative features of the system, allowing you to perform a quantitative analysis ("Accounting") of the costs of services provided, expressed in terms of actual units of resources involved.
The calculation is quite complex and produces a useful report for the corporate management.
Activities
Activities were executed in collaboration with Yacme Ltd, a Tecnoteca partner.
We provided the following services:
- virtual machine with all the required components
- data model analysis and configuration
- initial data import for Server, Networking and Software areas
- configuration of a report to calculate the resources consumption required by each service
- change Management workflow process configuration
- training and support activities
- annual maintenance service
