AGSM Verona (Italy)
Requirements
AGSM Verona is a "multi-utility" operating in the city of Verona and dedicated to the management of electricity services, public lighting, gas distribution, district heating and telecommunications.
The main objective was to handle servers, network services and other classes involved.
A further evolution of the system could be the management of IT assets like PDL ("client" workplaces) and related services.
We used the GIS included in CMDBuild to view the location of the assets such as CCTV devices (video surveillance) within the city area.
Activities
We provided the following services:
- virtual machine with all the required components
- data model analysis and configuration
- initial data import (server, client, network devices, personnel)
- workflow configuration for asset handling (activation of a physical server / virtual network device, printer, storage, CCTV, software)
- configuration of an inventory report, according to DPSS (Documento Programmatico per la Sicurezza)
- training and support activities
- maintenance service
